I had Greg, Raymond, and Chris on the boat yesterday. We fished four different patterns and caught fish on all patterns. We never went Power Pole deep, but got close two spots we fished. Water temp is in the mid 40`s.

It`s that time of year that if catfish are caught deep they might need burped. Here is how I burp them if I don`t have a piece of pvc handy. I usually keep one on the boat, but it was hiding. These fish I was catching were 40+ feet deep. Quick and easy, but this one didn`t make as loud of a sound as others when the air released. It was probably camera shy. You just need to use your fingers to make an air gap like pvc would do.
That NW wind yesterday was stiff for sure. Rick, Larry, and Clint didn`t care they wanted to go fishing. Following the deep isolated schools of shad was a great pattern yesterday.

I took Brian and his boys out for a couple of hours to catch a mess of blue catfish. The bite was just steady with a few flurries of fast action. They were relating to dropoffs, but all over the areas at different depths.
