Lance's Guide Service is a fishing guide service in Northeast Oklahoma with three full-time guides.
Yesterday, Dave and Dennis joined me for Day 2 and we caught white bass and catfish all morning.
For the afternoon, new customer Greg brought his two 10 year old grandsons to learn how to fish. They hadn't caught more than a few fish their entire ten year old lives 🤣 We started out learning how to drop straight down and catch crappie focusing on the basics progressing to bite detection and fighting them. After they got the hang of crappie, we switched to bait fishing for white bass and catfish finishing the afternoon with tossing slabs for white bass. They shattered their fish catch numbers by a long shot and are now ready to show their families some new skills.
Day 3 with Dave and Dennis they decided they wanted to catch paddlefish. After some lessons, they each took turns catching some. We finished the day catching a small mess of crappie for Dave.
