Yesterday was the toughest trip I've done in a very long time. I've taken Jerry fishing for years and we talked about it going to be tougher than the past trips, but gave it a go anyways. Crappie was the target, but we quite frankly didn't find much. We caught crappie, largemouth bass, and finished playing with a school of white perch.
This morning, Tom and Jack wore their arms out on hybrid-striper and had a ball doing it. They moved here from California a few years ago and hadn't really fished much since they moved here.

Tim, Aaron, and the birthday boy were patient and waited until the storms cleared yesterday morning to go catch hybrid-striper and catfish. They were hungry and attacking baits to start and as the clouds rolled out and winds calmed the bite meter slowed down gradually. It was a very beautiful afternoon on the water.
