I was warned about the good times and laughs we would have yesterday...those warnings were on point!
We made a later start to let it warm up a bit and as we got out on the river they opened up the gates and she was rolling hard. We gave white bass a try for a few minutes and quickly made the switch to paddlefish to let the white bass get repositioned. Fish on within minutes and hard battles were the norm for a few hours. They shut the gates off completely, so we went back to white bass so they'd have something to eat for dinner.
It was good to catch up since we haven't seen each other since high school. Time sure has flown by!
Spring fishing is kicking into high gear.
